Advertisments

Here are a couple of advertisments either for various products or to promote awareness about a certain subject. None of them have been published or represent the actual compainies.

ANTI - STEROIDS

This ad is designed to critize the use of steroids in professional baseball.

The line of text on the bottom reads, "*Due to the use of performance enhancing drugs, records set during the Steroid Era are accompainied by an asterisk to suggest omitted matter."

I prefered the ad without this added notation but I think that it helps viewers that do not know about the history of the asterisk in baseball.

ALS AWARENESS

Here is a poster that promotes awareness of the disease ALS or Lou Gerrig's Disease.

ANTI - WOMEN

This was a assignment and it's intent was to exercise our abilities to promote things that we do not support.

So here is my response to women with expensive taste, playing on the old saying "what base did you get to?"

VICTORIA'S SECRET AD

Here the goal was to create an advertisement that would sell the power/influence of lingerie. I tried to approach the content in a way that broke the standard "hot chick in underware" model.

The brand name in the corner key's the viewer into the product and hopefully inspires a second look at the television.
